The Central Kentucky Community Action Council Senior Companion Program recruits volunteers over the age of 55 to provide in-home services to teh frail elderly in order to help them remain living independently in their own homes. The Senior Companion Program provides services consisting of companionship, light meal preparation, light housecleaning, short distance transportation and respite care. All services are delivered at no cost to the clients.

The Senor Companion Program serves Breckinridge, Grayson, Hardin, Marion, Nelson, and Washington counties.
